Q. The credit crunch is being used by many firms to employ less people and putting considerably more pressure on those in work, giving them more and more to do. Using fear of unemployment, is yours one of these. Asked by christine b - Sat Jun 13 14:57:27 2009 - - 6 Answers - 0 Comments A. I am one of the lucky one who has a wonderful boss who runs a small company. If we really get overloaded for an extended period of time we have another employee who comes in as needed. In reality, with this economy, it is expected that a employer would hold back on hiring as the businesses are unstable and could take a fall at anytime. He/she may just want to keep all of you working instead of putting your jobs in jeopardy. We should look at the picture from both sides. Q. Where I am the Super won't allow you to address the school board///none in years!!! parents are cut off... also he's been, neglegently (with no regard for fiscal duty) allocating funds grandiously to whomever he wishes. In June he dropped 1.4million, his excuses on being caught are disturbing and he's launched a counter offensive telling the community that the problem is the county council member who noticed the inconsistancies is at fault/this is how we do things/public meetings are wrong, etc... I want to shake my rattle...what should I do? By the way I have never met or spoke to the council member who raised this issue///Fact is, "there are many other issues too". Asked by Born in the USA - Tue Sep 11 01:21:57 2007 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments A. i think the individual above was right...report it to the AG of your state. Write to the op ed section of the news. i thought parents had the right to attend school board meetings? maybe take a cue from the more liberal among us and try to get a few people together to picket the meeting? that should garner some news interest... it is a pity parents no longer have say in their children's education. it is our shame it has become so politicized... so unreachable ... and we must take it back...as parents interested in what our children are being taught... we have to take an interest...and we have to take back our rights...our duties as parents... don't give up...
